Professional Hunting Guide. Larry Lowell,  # 704181-04 will be offering Guided Hunts for Wild California Upland Birds for the 2009-2010 UplandBird Season.

We will be offering Wild Chukar, Quail, and Pheasant Hunts at a rate of $150 per person per day. On the wild upland bird hunts I limit the number of hunters to a maximum of 4 hunters per hunt. So if your a individual or have a small group we will be able to fit you in. Our Quail and Chukar Hunting is done in the High Desert in the D-17 hunting zone, Victorville, Apple Valley, Lucerne Valley, Red Mt, Ridgecrest, MNP areas. Wild Pheasant will be hunted in the El Centro area.

We will be doing a limited number of Wild Upland Bird Hunts, because the season is running in conjuction with the Bear, and Fall Turkey seasons. So if you want to book an upland bird hunt plan on trying to schedule it early so you have a time slot in place. At the same time dont be afraid to call at the last minute to see if we have any openings, because if we are not booked for a hunt on any given week day or weekend we can try to fit you in. When Im not Bear Hunting Im either Upland Bird Hunting or Turkey Hunting and visa versa.

Note, that all my Upland Bird Hunts are for Wild Birds, Chukar, Quail, and Pheasant. It should also be noted that hunting Wild Birds, specifically Chukar, can be a grooling task. The challenge will develop a Love, Hate relationship with this bird, as they will test your conditioning, and shooting skills.
